We're compiling samples of writing and editing mistakes -- from the funny to the scary. (Yes, scary. Imagine an error in crucial medication instructions.) When we've finished sorting and compiling, we'll post them to the site.

Send a copy of the mistake, when and where it appeared, along with your name and contact information.

We promise not to include the names of companies or publications or any information that identifies the exact source of the error. Our goal is not to embarrass anyone, but merely to provide a chuckle while reminding us all how easily errors can go undetected until it's too late. As millions of computer users have learned, a spell-check review is not the answer to proofreading and editing. It is merely one tool to be used to ensure error-free documents.
